I was invited by the DAAD (Der Deutsche Akademische Austauschdlenst: German Academic Exchange Service) as a one-year guest composer in its Artists-In-Berlin Programme, which is a residential programme for international artists of all countries and all ages. This program is one of the most internationally renowned and sought-after scholarship programs.

Unless other drastic changes in my part, I will be spending my next year in Berlin! How exciting.

Some of the composers and artists who were DAAD fellows are: Kurtág, Penderecki, Ligeti, Cage, Feldman, Nono, Isang Yun, Robin Minard, Grisey, Christian Marclay, Arvo Pärt, Susan Sontag, Carlos Fuentes, Witold Gombrowicz, to name a few!
